|"We strive to create places which touch the emotions, stimulate the intellect, & engage the senses." |
If buildings can make us ill, can they be designed in such a way as to make us well? We promote a phenomenological approach to the design of places for people. By this we mean that in the design process we consider how a place will be experienced and perceived by its users. Form, color, lighting, and materials are carefully considered as they have a measurable effect on the occupants.
We believe that awell designed environment has a measurable effect on ones health, well-being, emotions, and ability to learn.
