Montana State University commissioned BNIM to create a chemistry research lab facility that would define state-of-the-art for resource/energy efficiency and for increased worker health and productivity. Upon completion the EPICenter will heat and cool itself without a traditional mechanical system, draw all of its materials from within a 350 mile radius, purify its own waste water and, most importantly, significantly improve its users’ health and productivity through increases in comfort, control of building systems and superior access to daylight.
