ArchPlan Inc., Philipsen Architects was founded at the end of 1992 by Klaus Philipsen, with the versatility to address the needs of various clients who seek immediate response, attention by an experienced principal, and flexibility. The Principal has more than 22 years of experience as architect and project manager in a multitude of projects in Germany, England and the US ranging from residential to industrial and commercial, from feasibility studies to transportation design, from small interior projects to major projects with multi million dollar construction budgets. He has received numerous awards and has gained special recognition in revitalization and rehabilitation projects.ArchPlan is has devoted to making the built environment a better place in which to live, to work and travel. The ArchPlan staff works in numerous volunteer organizations and capacities to retain the livability of our cities and arrive at design sensitive and environmentally conscious solutions for building, urban design, planning and transportation problems. ArchPlanÂ’s commitment to community based planning has led to the development of participation techniques, work in advisory committees and the organization of charettes, community workshops and town meetings. ArchPlan has state of the art CADD, word processing, graphic, and photo-imaging equipment and software.
